Siren's Pull OOC Permissions

heywoobieAlright, so Babs' dormant ability in Siren's Pull is Technopathy. This means she has the ability to control technology with her mind. She'd be able to mentally interface with computer data, can operate tech just by touching or looking.
I've of course set up a few limitations such as:
However, in order to not be a complete Godmodder or to make OOC-info IC I'm setting up a quick permissions post.
Take in note this is for more informal type things, not huge information heists or what not. If I do intend to use this power at some point I will be contacting any mun before hand, and not go balls wild.
I've of course set up a few limitations such as:
- Cannot control purely mechanical objects, like steam engines.
- She has to be within a close proximity to the object.
- Initially she would have poor control over this. She wouldn’t be able to immediately hack or control anything beyond being able to get information more quickly from low security buildings, such as public libraries or schools.
- Anything which was a “sentient” technology, for example something like a Transformer or any AI program, would be much more difficult to hack, if not impossible.
- Even after she did discover these powers, however, I don’t think she’d use them to their absolute fullest. She is a member of the Bat-Family, for her using powers feels wrong and almost like a cop-out. She prides herself on being self-made.
- However, if at some point she decided she did need to use this, I would of course have a permissions post up and take up anything major with muns involved. However, none of this is guaranteed to work considering she wouldn’t exercise or test this power very often.

Does your character have/use any electronics?: NV, a tablet, will acquire more in the future
How complicated are your filters?: Emma's own are good standard filters properly used. There should be unhackable % attacked.
Will Babs be able to break these filters?: Oh heck yes a technopath can break them. Anything Emma sends to the the network, don't bother asking. Do check with me if you want to break into Emma's computer to read anything not on the network; Emma keeps strict firewall protocol

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream 8|?: Mine depends on my mood but usually something nutty, sometimes coffee or chocolate. Emma likes coffee and assorted less common flavors - cinnamon, garlic, lavender, coconut, and so on ... spices, or sweets which are less overwhelming than fruits.

Does your character have/use any electronics?: He uses his NV all the time and once he starts getting paid for his new job, will be using a computer again.
How complicated are your filters?: They're along the lines of Batman's (I would say Batman is obvs a step up from the Jaybird, but Jason's pretty up there because he was trained by Bats)
Will Babs be able to break these filters?: Knowing the canon I would say yes? But I would prefer this to not happen often, as Jason does most of his plotting behind filters and has serious trust issues to begin with.

How complicated are your filters?: She doesn't really know how to do them, so either it's public or she uses the Batcryptions Bruce and Clark put on her NV. EDIT: oh yeah, and she'll send private communications, obviously, but again: unless Batcrypted, not crypted.
Will Babs be able to break these filters?: If she can break Batcryptions.

Does your character have/use any electronics?: Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ha. Ha. Heh. Yes.
How complicated are your filters?: Depends! If he's trying to do the equivalent of lowering his voice in public? Not complicated, he expects some are rude enough to overhear. But at 90% and above? VERY. 97% would keep out most technopaths. He has also back traces, and other nasty stuff on his encryptions. Medical stuff isn't the most protected but it appears to be.
Will Babs be able to break these filters?: Technically? YES. HOWEVER. DUE to Batman's arrival, anything over 97% will unencrypt into several alien languages. If you don't have the key? SOL unless you know Skrull, Kree, Shi'Ar, etc.
Anything else?: He's played with others over the network before with hacking games. He's willing to again, actually.
